ORLANDO, FL - Osprey Custom Homes Construction Superintendent Tom Engel, who has played a significant role in the award-winning company's growth and success, recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with the southwest Orlando company.
Engel, a homebuilding veteran with more than four decades of experience under his belt, is responsible for overseeing all new home construction, including scheduling, site supervision and coordinating the company's myriad sub-contractors, says Osprey Vice President Anthony Lightman.
Since joining Osprey, Engel has supervised the construction of more than 300 homes for the company, most of which are located throughout southwest Orlando where Osprey specializes, including Bay Hill, Isleworth, Windermere and Keene's Pointe.
"Although they are extremely vital to every homebuilding operations, site superintendents operate in almost complete anonymity with very little fanfare," says Lightman. "Tom has been an important part of our success and we want to make a point to recognize this special milestone and his contributions to our company." Engel is a resident of Kissimmee.
Osprey (www.OrlandoCustomBuilder.com), who's founding principals have been a part of the Central Florida homebuilding scene for a half century, has been one of southwest Orlando's most active custom builders. The company, which posted a record $11.3 million in sales last year, has consistently been ranked among the area's top 10 custom builders. The company's homes range in price from the mid $700s to more than $5 million.
