(05 2004 SALES SUMMARY 1)
ORLANDO, FL - Continuing the consistency that has made it one of Central Florida's leading custom home builders over the past five years, Osprey Custom Homes (www.OrlandoCustomBuilder.com) punctuated a banner 2004 with approximately $12.5 million in sales volume.
The MetroWest-based, family-run company which specializes in the southwest Orlando upscale home market averaged a little over $1 million a sale on 12 home sales during 2004, reports Vice President Anthony Lightman.
Nearly all of the sales activity occurred in the prestigious Keene's Point community in Windermere where Osprey Custom Homes has been one of the community's most active homebuilders.
Last year's volume represents an 11 percent increase over 2003 volume of $11.3 million on 16 sales, notes Lightman. Lightman expects Osprey to build between 15 and 20 homes this year, placing "an even greater premium on quality rather than quantity."
Despite the limited production, the award-winning company continues to be one of the area's leading custom builders. Since 2001, Osprey Custom Homes has logged just under $45 million on 64 home sales - an average of $703,125. The company's home prices range from the $700s to more than $5 million.
Besides Keene's Pointe, Osprey Custom Homes also is building in The Reserve at Belmere and expects to launch an upscale, lakefront community in Gotha sometime this summer.
